At Mishkan, we believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, our final authority for faith and practice. We believe in one eternal God who exists as three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as our substitute, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return personally and visibly to establish His Kingdom. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts sinners, imparts new life, seals believers, and empowers us with His fruit and gifts for holy living and effective service. Every person is created in God’s image but has fallen into sin; salvation is God’s free gift received by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe the Church is the Body of Christ called to worship, make disciples, and demonstrate God’s love in our homes, workplaces, and nation. We practice believer’s baptism by immersion and celebrate the Lord’s Supper as memorials of Christ’s death and our hope in His return. God designed marriage as the lifelong covenant union of one man and one woman, and the family as the foundation of society. We are committed to living holy, fruitful lives every day as we await the bodily resurrection, the final judgment, and the new heavens and new earth where righteousness dwells.
